OnlyFans Caption Ideas: A Blank Template and 28 Examples by Goal

OnlyFans caption ideas work best when each caption has one job and four parts: a hook, a specific tease, a choice and a call to action. This page, from Anlora, which we make, gives a blank to copy and 28 non-explicit examples for seven goals, for agencies writing feed posts for their creators.

What makes a good OnlyFans caption?

A good OnlyFans caption gives the fan one clear reason to act on that post: it opens with a hook, teases one specific detail, offers a choice and ends with a single call to action. Lookstars Agency's caption guide names the same four parts, and Supercreator's guide adds that a caption should stay short, with the first sentence set apart from the rest once it runs past four or five sentences. The specific detail is what separates a caption from a filler line.

Written out in full, captions in each vibe read like this. Playful: "Not sure this one belongs on the main feed... thoughts?" Curiosity and PPV: "The full set is waiting in your DMs, and the last photo is my favorite." Question: "Coffee or wine for tonight's shoot? Comment and I'll pick the winner." Behind the scenes: "Twelve takes of this shot, because the cat kept walking in."

The blank OnlyFans caption template (copy this)

Version 1.0, 8 October 2026. Copy the nine fields into a note or your content calendar and fill one copy per post. Every field stays, even when the answer is "none". Still choosing what to post? Start with OnlyFans content ideas. Captions are for posts on the wall; for messages sent to a list of fans, use the mass message templates.

  • 1. Goal: [one outcome: comments, replies in the DMs, an unlock, a tip or a return visit; one goal per post]
  • 2. Placement: [free page, paid page or a locked item, plus the day and time this creator's fans are online]
  • 3. Hook (line 1): [one line, ideally under 15 words (our rule of thumb, not a measured figure), about a feeling or a moment, never the price]
  • 4. Specific tease (line 2): [one concrete detail: the outfit, the place, the time or the part of the set that is held back]
  • 5. Choice (line 3): [two options the fan can pick in one word, so answering costs nothing]
  • 6. Call to action (last line): [one instruction only: comment a word, message a word, tap the lock or check the tip menu]
  • 7. Boundary check: [what the caption implies, and a yes from the creator that they are happy to deliver it]
  • 8. Reply plan: [who answers the comments and the DMs, by when, and what they send]
  • 9. Success measure: [comments, DM replies, unlocks and tips on this post, compared with the last post of the same kind]

OnlyFans caption examples by goal

What to caption an OnlyFans post depends on what the post should do: make the fan curious, get a reply or sell a PPV unlock. Describing the photo does none of those. Good caption ideas fall into a few vibes: playful, teasing lines that get a reaction, curiosity builders that hold back part of a set and sell the unlock, question captions that turn a comment into a DM, and behind-the-scenes lines that keep fans talking. Each one asks the fan to do something.

Each goal below has one fully filled example, field by field in the order of the blank, then three more captions for the same goal. All of them are written by us with placeholders and are meant as a starting structure, not as lines to paste.

Welcome and new post captions

Use these for a first post on a page, a new series or a return after a break. The goal is a first reply, not a sale.

  • Goal: comments from new fans.
  • Placement: free page, evening.
  • Hook: "new on the page and a little nervous about this one"
  • Specific tease: "[outfit] for my first shoot in [city], and the last photo is my favorite"
  • Choice: "should the next set be indoors or outside?"
  • Call to action: "vote in the comments and I'll shoot the winner"
  • Boundary check: the creator has said yes to shooting either option, and the caption promises a photo set and nothing more.
  • Reply plan: answer every comment the same day; anyone who explains their vote gets a short thank-you in the DMs, with nothing for sale in it.
  • Success measure: comments on this post, compared with the last welcome post.
  • More captions, welcome: "hi, I'm [creator name]. I post [niche] most evenings. what should I show first?"
  • More captions, new series: "first post of the week: three photos and one story. which photo do you want the story for?"
  • More captions, return after a break: "I'm back, with a set I planned for weeks. tell me your name and what you missed most"

OnlyFans captions for PPV posts

OnlyFans captions for PPV posts tease one specific detail of the locked video or photo set, keep the rest hidden and tell the fan exactly how to unlock it.

Use these on a post that previews locked media, so the caption sells the part held back. See what PPV means on OnlyFans for how locked offers are paid.

  • Goal: an unlock.
  • Placement: paid page, with the locked item attached at [price].
  • Hook: "I filmed the full version and I'm still deciding whether to post it"
  • Specific tease: "this is the first ten seconds; the final scene, in [outfit], is only in the locked one"
  • Choice: "the short cut or the whole thing?"
  • Call to action: "the short cut is free above; tap the lock for the whole thing"
  • Boundary check: the locked scene exists, is finished and is something the creator is happy to sell at [price].
  • Reply plan: answer questions about the lock the same day; a fan who asks about the price gets it in the DMs, and nobody is sent media they already own.
  • Success measure: unlocks on this post, compared with the last teaser at a similar price.
  • More captions, teaser: "the free preview stops right before the best part. you know where the rest is"
  • More captions, two takes: "two takes of this and I can't pick. which one gets the lock?"
  • More captions, bundle: "[number] photos in the full set for [price]. the preview is the least interesting one"

Re-engagement captions

Use these when a page has gone quiet or fans have stopped commenting. The goal is a reply, so nothing is for sale in the caption.

  • Goal: replies from fans who went quiet.
  • Placement: paid page, a weekday evening.
  • Hook: "it's been a while since I did one of these"
  • Specific tease: "[outfit] is back out again and I shot a full set on a quiet Sunday in [city]"
  • Choice: "the set as I shot it, or the extras I almost deleted?"
  • Call to action: "comment your pick, or message me 'back' if you've been away"
  • Boundary check: "the extras" are unused frames the creator is happy to share; nothing is promised beyond the set.
  • Reply plan: everyone who writes 'back' gets a personal welcome-back message with no offer in it; their answer decides what comes next.
  • Success measure: comments and 'back' messages, compared with the last re-engagement post.
  • More captions, check-in: "some of you have gone quiet. what's your favorite thing I've posted so far?"
  • More captions, gap: "I checked and I haven't posted [niche] in two weeks. fixing that today. what do you want first?"
  • More captions, lurkers: "waving at everyone lurking πŸ‘‹ say hi and I'll answer one of you first"

Question captions that start DMs

Use these to turn a comment into a conversation. The question must be easy to answer, and the call to action sends the fan to the DMs.

  • Goal: replies in the DMs.
  • Placement: free or paid page, when this creator's fans are online.
  • Hook: "okay, I need a second opinion before I post the rest"
  • Specific tease: "two outfits for tonight, [outfit A] and [outfit B], and I can't decide"
  • Choice: "A or B?"
  • Call to action: "comment your letter, then message me why and I'll send you a closer look at the winner"
  • Boundary check: "a closer look" means one more photo of the same outfit, which the creator has approved.
  • Reply plan: answer each comment, move the 'why' replies into the DMs and note who picked what for the next post.
  • Success measure: comments plus DM replies on this post, compared with the last question post, and which letter won.
  • More captions, plans: "pick my Friday: a quiet night in or a night out in [city]?"
  • More captions, one word: "one word for my week. you go first"
  • More captions, rating: "rate this look from 1 to 10 and tell me what you'd change"

Tip menu captions

Use these to point fans at the creator's menu without begging. Build the menu first, with the OnlyFans tip menu guide.

  • Goal: a tip or a request from the menu.
  • Placement: paid page, a few days after a new set.
  • Hook: "I updated my menu today"
  • Specific tease: "there's a new item on it that I've been asked for a few times: [menu item]"
  • Choice: "a one-off, or something I do every month?"
  • Call to action: "the full menu is on my page; message me the item name to claim it"
  • Boundary check: [menu item] is on the creator's own menu, so they have already agreed to it at that price.
  • Reply plan: the person on shift confirms the item and the price in the DMs before anything is made.
  • Success measure: tips and requests from the menu in the days after the post, compared with the same days after the last menu post.
  • More captions, guess: "one item on the menu is at [price] and I'm enjoying it more than I expected. guess which"
  • More captions, goal: "tips this week go toward [new setup]. the menu has the details"
  • More captions, new fans: "if you've wondered what the menu covers, it's on my page. ask me about anything on it"

Behind-the-scenes captions

Use these for retention posts that show the person rather than the product. The goal is a comment, and they keep a page from reading like a shop window.

  • Goal: comments and a feeling of access.
  • Placement: free or paid page, between two selling posts.
  • Hook: "this is what a shoot day really looks like"
  • Specific tease: "an hour of moving lights, one dropped phone, and the single frame I kept"
  • Choice: "more days like this, or just the finished sets?"
  • Call to action: "vote in the comments and I'll plan next week around it"
  • Boundary check: the creator picks what the photo shows; nothing in the frame or the text gives away private details.
  • Reply plan: count the votes, report the result in the next post and keep the format only if it won.
  • Success measure: comments on the vote, compared with the last behind-the-scenes post, and which answer won.
  • More captions, morning: "unedited morning, no plan. what do you want to know about how I work?"
  • More captions, outtakes: "the outtakes from yesterday are funnier than the set. should I post them?"
  • More captions, setup: "the setup for tonight's [niche] set. guess what goes where"

Holiday and occasion captions

Use these for dated posts such as a holiday, a birthday or a new year. Plan them a week ahead, because the reply shift matters most on the day itself.

  • Goal: comments and replies on the day.
  • Placement: scheduled a week ahead, posted in the evening of [holiday].
  • Hook: "[holiday] is coming and I've been planning something for a week"
  • Specific tease: "a themed set in [outfit], shot in [city], dropping on [date]"
  • Choice: "cozy or dressed up?"
  • Call to action: "vote now, then message me your favorite part of [holiday] and I'll answer on the day"
  • Boundary check: the themed set is shot, or booked with the creator's yes, before the date is announced.
  • Reply plan: put the reply shift for the day on the calendar when the post is scheduled.
  • Success measure: comments and DM replies on the day, compared with the last occasion post.
  • More captions, birthday: "it's my birthday week on the page. tell me what you'd put in the gift"
  • More captions, new year: "new year, new set. what should I leave behind in last year?"
  • More captions, holiday night: "[holiday] plans: I'm home, in [outfit], and taking suggestions for tonight's caption"

How to adapt OnlyFans captions to each creator's voice

  • Keep the nine fields, change the voice. The examples are written in one neutral voice. Rewrite the hook, tease and choice in the creator's own words, and keep the order of the fields.
  • Start from the creator's own lines. Read three of their real posts or messages before writing, and match their sentence length, their emoji habit and how they greet fans. The same voice should carry into the OnlyFans bio and the stage name from the name generator.
  • Let the creator set the limits. Field 7 exists for this: the creator signs off on what a caption implies, and a caption never promises more than they are happy to deliver. Lookstars Agency's checklist asks the same question before posting.
  • Write by page type. On a free page the call to action can point to the paid page or a locked item; on a paid page the fans have already subscribed, so asking for a reply is the more natural ask.
  • Translate by hand. For fans who read another language, rewrite the caption in that language in the creator's voice rather than pasting a machine translation.
  • Schedule for this creator's fans. Post when that creator's fans are online, which earlier posts' comment times will show.
  • Retire a pattern when answers fade. If a kind of question stops getting replies, change the choice first, then the hook.

OnlyFans caption mistakes to avoid

  • A vague line. Lookstars Agency's guide says a line like "feeling cute" is fine for Instagram but rarely moves money on OnlyFans; the concrete detail in field 4 fixes it.
  • Promising what is not ready. Lookstars Agency's guide warns against promising "the full video" without a plan. If a caption says it is waiting in the DMs, the locked item must exist and someone must be on shift to send it.
  • Selling in every caption. Lookstars Agency's guide says that if every caption is "buy now", fans tune out. Alternate the posts that sell with posts that only ask for a reply.
  • A caption that does not match the media. Lookstars Agency's checklist asks whether the caption matches the content and says not to put a "wild" caption on a soft photo. The mismatch also works the other way, and either one makes the next caption less believable.
  • The same lines on several creators. Fans who follow two creators from one agency can notice the same sentence twice. Give each creator their own bank of lines.
  • No reply plan. A call to action that asks for comments or DMs creates work; field 8 names who does it, so a reply is not left waiting.
  • Expecting a caption to fix low traffic. Lookstars Agency's guide says captions improve what you already have, and that low traffic also needs promotion. Start with OnlyFans traffic.

How do agencies write OnlyFans captions at scale?

Agencies write OnlyFans captions at scale by keeping one caption bank per creator, with the nine fields as columns and a status for each row: drafted, approved by the creator, scheduled, posted. A weekly calendar sets the mix of goals before anyone writes, so a week holds welcome, question, behind-the-scenes and PPV teaser posts rather than five teasers. The writer drafts in the creator's voice, the creator approves anything new, and the reply shift for each post is on the calendar next to it. Supercreator's guide suggests testing by posting two different captions and seeing which one fans answer better; keep the result in the success column so the next caption starts from it.

Lookstars Agency's posting checklist says to reply to the first comments fast and to message the fans who respond. A caption whose call to action is "message me" sends the fan into the DMs, and that is where Anlora, which we make, chats with every paying fan on its own, top spenders included. See the OnlyFans AI chatbot for how that works: the caption opens the conversation, and the chat is where it continues.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to caption a thirst trap?

Caption it like any other photo post, and keep it suggestive at most: a hook about the moment, one concrete detail that is not the body (the outfit, the light, the place) and a choice. For a selfie: "mirror check before [event]. [outfit A] or [outfit B]?" Field 7 still applies: imply nothing the creator will not deliver.

Should the price go in an OnlyFans caption?

Keep it out of the hook, which is about the moment. On a locked item the lock already carries the price, so the caption's job is the tease. If a bundle needs a number in the text, state it once and check it against the tip menu so the two agree.

Do OnlyFans captions need emojis or special formatting?

Line breaks matter more than emojis. Put the hook, the tease, the choice and the call to action on separate lines, so a fan reading on a phone sees four short lines instead of one block. Emojis are optional; if a line only works with an emoji, rewrite the line.

Can a caption generator write OnlyFans captions?

A generator can draft options. Supercreator's guide lists Pseudoface, Anakin.ai and Hootsuite as examples and notes that Hootsuite, built for general social media, needs adapting. Treat any output as a first draft: fill the nine fields, rewrite it in the creator's voice and run the boundary check.

Can a creator write their own captions with this template?

Yes. Fields 3 to 6 work as four prompts for a creator working alone, and fields 7 to 9 are the part an agency adds: the sign-off, the reply plan and the measure. A creator working alone can keep all nine in one note and fill them per post.
